Utah House rejects "No Child Left Behind" provisions.

Utah became the first state to reject the Bush mandates that cost more then the fed govt is willing to pay. The state will only comply with the mandates "where there is adequate federal funding".

This was a 'news in brief' in our local paper today. I wonder if other states will follow?

The thing is a lot of states have considered it, or at least they want to. However, they need all the funds they can get. So, they can't.
