I personally wouldn't get involved with someone from GC because I need to meet a person face to face before I could even consider trying a relationship with someone. I have enough issues when I meet guys IRL, I don't need to add the drama of meeting someone online and starting a relationship in that way.
Now, in regards to long distance, I'm not ruling it out, but I think it'd be pretty difficult to maintain committment when you're in completely different areas of the country/world and dealing with different situations in life. Give me a good ol' home-grown guy anyday!
