This year will be my parents' 30th wedding anniversary, and they're still very affectionate. Sometimes it's a little much to bear, especially when my mommy calls me out on being too affectionate w/ Boy.
I've seen them disagree, but never fight violently or loudly. I can only imagine that seeing your parents fight all the time does not give you the greatest relationship model.
