That's an aggressive expansion. I question whether 3 fraternity colonies added at the same time is a good idea. It's a really sink or swim environment. I'm pretty sure our IHQ knows what it's doing if it agreed to this. The colonies that succeed will probably be very strong due to the competition they face in starting up.
It appears that for us at least, this is a recolonization of our Theta Eta Chapter founded in 1970.
From their website (which is still active and seems to be very current) they seem to have gone dormant in '97.
