I found it comical that Al Gore gave a speech criticizing Bush's environmental policies that are leading to more global warming in New York yesterday - when New York is experiencing record cold.

If you want real cold - try Fairbanks, Alaska. I was up there last March, and it was (according to the locals) ONLY -5 - and they had t-shirts on, and windows opened for fresh air. I'm from Colorado, and I'm used to cold, but for crying out loud - if it's below 0, close the freakin' windows!

They also showed me a video that they made in January last year when it was -45 (WITHOUT wind chill, mind you). They took a pot of boiling water and threw it up in the air outside of a house. Any guesses as to what happened?
