I had one taken out a couple of years ago - I only have 2! The dentist gassed me and I was so high they could have cut off my leg and I wouln't have known it. I did not feel a thing, but since I was concious, I could HEAR him breaking the tooth out. It sounded horrible, like he was breaking every bone in my head!! I didn't have much pain afterwards, but it was about a month or so until I could chew on that side. My friend drove me to the dentist, and when I came out, she was mad because she was hoping to finish reading her Harry Potter book before I was through and she only had about 5 pages left!
