For everyone to know:
I had a friend go through recruitment at SMU in the Spring of 2000, knowing full well how compititive recruitment is at SMU, she used the Fall to get good grades, attain strong recs and observe the sororities, etc etc. She went through with an open mind but knowing her dream house and she got what she wanted.
I shared what my friend had told me with SMUGirl and along with other advice she received, she prepared herself for rush. And from all we have observed here, she had a very sucessful recruitment! I commend her on that and congratulate her on her new home!
