Now, a few non-greeks have approached me, wanting to know, "Why Zeta?" Well, Zeta is a Sorority of FIRSTS (yes, I know it sounds like a cliche, but it's true!). Don't be fooled by all the hype some of the other orgs. put out there. Sure, having famous HONORARY members is good, but the WORK is what really mattered to me. There's too many firsts to type, so check out the National Website for full information.
Secondly, there were no stereotypes associated with Zeta. I loved the fact that members I came across were of different nationalities and backgrounds, though it's traditionally an African American org! The Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood that was shown was simply outstanding! I didn't want to be associated with a sorority that discriminated against its own kind, or had any ties to such a history.
