I have to agree with you, Smiley. It goes back to when I was in high school and it was all the rage to wear your birkis with your jeans, even when it got cold (and by cold I mean 60 degrees
). Now I have students who don't understand that pantyhose and dress shoes are necessary evils for dressy occasions. They just want to wear their J. Crew flip flops
