In 1873 at the Lewis School for Women in Oxford, MS on a cold December 12 night. When I power walk I pass by the Historial Marker all of the time. I love to read it. I love the history of Delta Gamma and of course all GLO's and my own, AOII!
However, the Ole Miss chapter was not founded until later on because sororities were closed down in the early 1920s. I think they came back in either 1927 or 1937, I forget. Or I might be totally wrong
