My pet peeve is men who don't take off their hats indoors. There is nothing inherantly offensive about that, I suppose, but I was always taught that gentlemen remove their hats indoors.
I hate obvious handbag knockoffs. There, I said it! I see some woman my age getting out of a 1974 Pinto dragging 5 kids into the grocery store with her and paying with foodstamps she fished out of her "Louis Vuitton" or her "Gucci" bag. I know there's no way it's real (unless the Pinto and foodstamps are a result of a designer bag fetish gone awry?). It's like, "hey you, you with the knockoff LV! I had to go to college and start a career so that I could be in the position to meet and marry someone who eventually started making a lot of money so that I can afford the real version of that bag and I really resent you thinking you can skip all of my hard work and careful planning just by going to some street vendor in downtown Baltimore and plopping down $45 for that bag!"
OMG, I can't believe I just posted this on a public message board! Please don't flame; other than this, I am actually a very nice person
Edited to add the comment Mr. KR just made when he read my post over my shoulder: "I see you're trying to justify the ridiculous obsession you have with people's purses, again"
