See, that's just over the top to me! What if one of the dinosaur alumnae says "rush"? It's not like you can control that!
As 33girl said, the spirit of the No Frills option was to lessen the stress on the sisters, and cut the costs.
I can remember one abyssmal rush - RECRUITMENT!! - that we had when our alumnae said afterwards, "The cost of rush was X. You took Y number of new members. That means each new member cost you Z." I think we shaped up after that just so we didn't have to endure that speech again! ACK!
