CTFU about B and Ms. Jackson. Little girl if you dont sit your bootylicious self down, lol...and when is Janet gonna put another album out?
Janet Jackson knows sexy — from her topless Rolling Stone cover to videos like the Herb Ritts-directed "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" — but producer Dallas Austin promises her new album is "easily the most sexy thing she's done."

"Guys won't know what to do with themselves after this," he said, laughing at the prospect. "It's one of the best records she's made."

Austin said he's produced five songs with Janet already, having worked with her over the last few months at his DARP Studios in Atlanta. Janet's still-untitled album is due March 30, according to a spokesperson for her label. Austin said he and Janet will record for another month before deciding which songs make the final cut. Janet is also working with longtime executive producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

The overriding theme of Austin's collaborations with Janet is her bubbling sexuality. "To me, this is her Dirty Mind," Austin explained, referring to the Prince album that established him as a hormonally charged pop star. "It's a really sexy record, but not in a sensual way. It's bold, it's fun, it's really positive. Nobody's sad, nobody's mad. It's just really fun songs where she happens to be talking frankly about sex."

Austin said the direction came from the energy she gave off from her when they first started working together. "She always shows what's going on with her life through her records, reveals the phase she's in with her life and brings out that experience," he said.

Early on in the recording process last May, producer 7 Aurelius said he and Jackson had crafted some "cutting edge, hard-hitting dance music" for the LP, and he predicted fans would be surprised by the final product (see "Janet Jackson Recording 'Hard-Hitting Dance Music' For New LP").

Austin, meanwhile, has also been spending time working with another alluring talent — Gwen Stefani. The bulk of the songs they've worked on were finished before the holidays, he said.

"They're both the easiest artists to work with, [Janet] and Gwen," Austin said. "With both their albums, it's the most creative vibe I've had in a long time. You'd think because of their status they're going to be spoiled stars, but it's not like that. They're open to anything you put in front of them, and that's so important because as a songwriter and producer it leaves you free to do what you do best

I hope Janet's next album is hot because that last one...well it definitely wasn't.

New Janet Jackson Album Due in March
Tue Jan 20, 5:27 PM ET Add Entertainment - Reuters to My Yahoo!

By Jonathan Cohen

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Janet Jackson (news)'s as-yet-untitled new album will be released March 30, according to a spokesperson at her label, Virgin Records.

Beyond collaborations with longtime producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Jackson has also worked with Missy Elliott, Dallas Austin and producer Rich Harrison, who was behind the boards for Beyonce Knowles ' "Crazy in Love." Jackson is planning to tour this summer in support of the album.

She will be part of the MTV-produced Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston on Feb. 1, although it is unknown if she will preview material from the upcoming release. P. Diddy, Kid Rock and Nelly will also be on hand for the festivities.

The new album is the follow-up to 2001's "All for You," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and has sold more than 3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The title cut reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 singles chart.

If she made the remark about "B" with "Been there done that" She's trying to go back... using the same producer B did

Dad To Be: Actor Omar Epps, who stars in the upcoming Paramount film “Against The Ropes” with Meg Ryan, is about to be a father for a second time. Omar and girlfriend Keisha Spivey, of P. Diddy’s girl group Total, are expecting a baby this summer. Omar and Keisha began dating again for a second time in March 2003 after the actor ended his almost three-year long relationship with “Out Of Time” actress Sanaa Lathan, to whom he was engaged. Omar and Sanaa met and began dating after they both starred in “Love & Basketball.”

Speaking of expecting … Gospel superstar Yolanda Adams is expecting her second child as well. The singer is two months pregnant.

Actress Erika Alexander Loves Writing TV

TORONTO - Actress Erika Alexander, who starred in the Fox sitcom "Living Single" alongside Queen Latifah, said she enjoys spending time writing for television with her husband.

Alexander, who currently plays a tough-as-nails probation officer in the Showtime series "Street Time," told AP radio that she and Tony Puryear have worked together on a number of projects.

"We sold a science-fiction series and other television series and we collaborate on feature films sometimes," she said.

Alexander called being able to write a "nice extension" of her career considering how time consuming her day job is.

Alexander, who was in "The Cosby Show" for two seasons, had roles in the films "Full Frontal," "30 Years to Life," "Love Liza" and "The Last Best Year."

She also starred in the Off-Broadway play "The Story" and played the role of Bianca in "Taming of the Shrew" in the New York Shakespeare Festival's 1999 summer season.

Da Bull arrested on drug charge

January 21, 2004

CHICAGO -- The man who portrays Da Bull, a mascot for the Chicago Bulls, was arrested Monday for allegedly selling marijuana outside the Cabrini-Green public housing complex, police said.

Chester Brewer, 31, who is in his ninth NBA season as the man beneath Da Bull's rusty brown fur, was arrested Monday night in the 500 block of West Locust Street and charged with marijuana delivery. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 17 for a preliminary hearing.

Tim Hallam, a Bulls spokesman, confirmed that Brewer portrays Da Bull, half of the team's mascot duo that includes Benny the Bull. Brewer has worked part time for the Bulls since 1996, Hallam said.

Police officers said they saw Brewer, of the 900 block of North Cleveland Avenue, Chicago, selling marijuana from his car outside Cabrini and arrested him as he got out of the car, police spokeswoman Patrice Harper said.

Police found 6 ounces of marijuana in individual plastic bags inside a single paper bag in his possession, Harper said.

Girl, Flo Anthony was on the radio talking about them this morning. She said that they actually met after the movie, "The Wood" and then starred in "Love & Basketball". I don't like him though, I don't like how he dogged Sanaa out and told all of their business after they broke up like that. That's aint right!

'Jeffersons' Isabel Sanford Receives Star
Fri Jan 16, 2:01 PM ET

By The Associated Press

LOS ANGELES - Isabel Sanford, best known as Louise Jefferson or "Weezie" on the CBS sitcom "The Jeffersons," moved on up to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Sanford, 86, was joined at the ceremony Thursday by about 300 fans, family members and friends, including "All in the Family" and "Jeffersons" creator Norman Lear and Marla Gibbs, who played the Jeffersons' maid Florence.

Sanford, a native New Yorker, said she was honored to have her own star.

"Here with stars in my eyes — something that I dreamed about when I was 9 years old," she said after the ceremony. "There are others that deserve it, but let everybody get their own."

Sanford made her feature film debut in the classic "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," before co-starring with Sherman Hemsley for more than 10 years in "The Jeffersons," a spin-off of the popular series "All in the Family."

In 1981, Sanford became the first black woman to receive an Emmy for best actress in a comedy series.

Hemsley was out of the state and couldn't attend his TV wife's ceremony, officials said, but Gibbs couldn't pass up watching her friend receive the star.

"I am so happy to be here to represent the queen," Gibbs said. "She is such a generous star."

Sanford's star, No. 2,245, is on Hollywood Boulevard near La Brea Avenue only a few away from the star honoring Carroll O'Connor (news) of "All in the Family."

Exclamation Sean Combs, equalize your child support

Combs' Ex-Lover Wants More Child Support

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) - Sean "P. Diddy'' Combs should be paying equal child support - about $30,000 a month - to each of his sons, the mother of one of the boys says.
Misa Hylton-Brim testified Tuesday in Family Court in New Rochelle in her lawsuit seeking a raise from the monthly $5,000 she now gets for 10-year-old Justin. Combs did not appear and his lawyer, Peter Galasso, declined to comment.
Hylton-Brim, a hip-hop fashion stylist who lives in Mount Vernon, has sole custody of the boy, although Combs has visitation rights.
"I want to be able to provide everything my child needs,'' she said.
Her lawyer, Brett Kimmel, said she needs the extra money to keep up with expenses including private school, a full-time nanny and 'round-the-clock security.
"This child's needs specifically relate to his father being who he is,'' Kimmel said.
He said the hip-hop entrepreneur pays about $30,000 a month for the support of his 6-year-old son Christian, whose mother is model Kim Porter.
Combs runs the Bad Boy Entertainment music publishing and recording company and has his own fashion line, Sean John, and several restaurants.
