I went to vegas one time and my parents never found out. That's because freshman year of college I talked to my parents MAYBE once a month...I was so glad to be away from home I completely ignored my family. Now, though, I don't think I would ever even leave the greater Phoenix area without telling my parents since I talk to them almost once a day. But yea, I think going to paris without telling them was a little bit irresponsible. But, on the plus side, atleast you told a friend, so if anything happened someone would know. I sort of wish I could just drive to LA without telling my parents, but I just can't see myself doing that anymore!! Ah to be young and carefree......wait, I'm only 20! hehe

by the way, are you still in Paris? Be careful, as the terrorist attack might affect especially in Europe, since the security measurement is not too enforced.

On the news, five Air France flight are cancelled today and tomorrow due to terrorist threats. And police caught a vehicle with bomb, tried to blow up a train/subway station in Madrid, Spain.
