I started a topic on this not too long ago. If you do search for password protection or websites in general, you can find info.

But to make a pp site, there are lots of java script codes you can write to protect a site. some of those are not as realiable cuz they can be hacked into and whatnot.
check with your server. mine has an option in the control panel where you can set up a remote folder and password protect that. anything that goes into that folder on the server is protected.
