Tell us your big/little story!

APO

I met my big, Miles at 4am in front of my dorm. I was having a fight with my bf at the time and he sat down an talked to me for like 2 hours. He told me about APO and invited me to the events. I went and decided to pledge. I didn't know how to pick as a big so I didn't write anyone down but he picked me!

I was Membership VP last year so I was in charge of the RUSH events. At one of the events, Tim comes up to me and says I'll only pledge if you're my big but I heard you weren't going to take a little (I was hoping to get a D Phi E little and didn't want to play favorites) I didn't even know Tim very well but it took me about a second to change my mind about the little situation.

I couldn't have asked for a better family. We're the closest, coolest family in APO. Sadly both Miles and Tim are leaving me this year and graduating. I'm going to miss them so much. But I have an awesome grandlittle to look after so I think I'll be fine.

D Phi E

I met my big Jess in APO. I didn't even know she was a Deepher until formal Rush. During my new member process she looked after me and always took me out on the weekends. I met so many upperclassman (I was a freshman) and had an awesome time. She said it was like taking mini me out. When it came time to choose a big I had no doubt I wanted Jess. She hid the fact that I was her little for a month! When it was big/little night I found out. I was the happiest girl in the room. We both grown up a bit but we're still really close. I'm going to miss her when she graduates and leaves for the Air Force in May.

My little, Marina, and I are like night and day. I'm loud, she's quiet. We met on the fencing team. I never thought she'd pledge a house. Since she was my friend I invited her to a COB event and she came. She liked the house so much she decided to pledge and she picked me as a big! She's older than me and will graduate before me but my time at D Phi E would not be the same without her.
