First of all, Jyhad1906, that has to be one of thee funniest pledge stories I have ever heard. What is the world were they thinking? It always amazes me how dumb folks become while on line? Of course WE were never dumb while we were pledging, though...
It was only two of us (me and my tail) and we had a heck of a time going to class, working, learning info and running errands for what seemed like a neverending number of bigs... We ended up not eating all day (chronic bubble guts) until the wee hours of the morning after session. And what did we eat? All the goodies that we had bought for our bigs and/or White Castle!
I didn't even like the majority of the stuff our bigs requested, but it was like a passive-aggressive way of getting back at them at the time, I think.
Dummies. Which reminds me,...
One of our bigs wanted some Amazin' Fruit candy. Well, we couldn't find it to save our lives! I mean, we ran all over the city looking for that dayum candy! Finally, we got down the the wire and we had to get our behinds to session, so guess what we did. We bought a pack of gummy worms from the gas station and wrote "Amazin' Fruit" on the pack with a Sharpie magic marker.... Needless to say, repercussions ensued!
