Girl, you know that Mayor Mikey won't call a snow day unless we get almost a foot of snow.

I think some of the schools upstate might have early dismissal.

I work in NJ! There's a chance!!!!!

Although I'm already at work, so at best I just get to leave early.

It's snowing in NYC right now.

*le sigh*
*le dammit*

My daughter's school went on a trip to see "A Christmas Carol". I made sure she was properly dressed for the weather - down jacket, snow pants and snow flurry boots, courtesy of Lands End. She'll be the only one in the house happy that it's snowing.

It's snowing out here too, and those flakes are FLYING. It looks terrible out there.

Arrgh
There was 2 inches of snow this morning on top of 10 inches from the night before. And of course, school still goes as scheduled and nothing is cancelled.
Imagine if this happens somewhere in Texas .. for sure the state is cancelled for the whole month!

It it wasn't me, all alone, having to dig the car out, and having to move this weekend, and having to dig the car out AGAIN tomorrow morning after the snow tonight, I'd be fine. But, I NOW HATE SNOW!! Lordie, I never thought I'd say that, but it's so inconvenient!!!!

I work in Westchester County... when I left work at around 2pm, there was about an inch of snow on the ground already. I beat the storm home, but it's starting to flurry...

And I have to vent. People around here do not know how to drive in snow. Yes, I am driving slowly and cautiously - unlike you, I relish the idea of arriving at my destination in one piece. Crazy-azz Connecticut drivers...

It actually started at noon, but didn't start really falling and sticking until about 1.

Meantime, I thought it was starting to snow here earlier (northern Fairfield) but it isn't really. *shrug* I'm sure it will be here before long...

I work in NJ and it started snowing at 10:30. THe snow started coming down heavily at 12:00ish, and by the time I left at 3 pm it was a damn blizzard. Inches ont he ground.

I was so relieved to get to NYC! Compared to the weather at work this is a pleasant sprinkle of snow!
