Very interesting
Very interesting memories.
I visited ATO at GA many times in the '70s, and it was strange.
The entrance from the parking lot (in the rear) was into the dining room and bedrooms, and they were always a mess.
Downstairs, though, was the formal living room (complete with a grand piano I think), and it was totally unused except for big events - and beautiful.
Like almost all of the UGa fraternity chapters, the chapter advisors and the alumni board lived in Atlanta, and the chapters get very little supervision.
