I was born in Leningrad. I moved here when I was about 7 and a half, like 13 years ago. It was 13 years on Thaksgiving Day cuz the day that we moved here was Thanksgiving. How cute is that?

Sure, if you come into Manhattan. We can eat at Chumley's.

I was at Chumley's a while back. We thought that it was a pub/bar, but it is a restaurant much to our surprise. So a dozen buzzed and rowdy people showed up there looking for a few more cocktails, and we realized that we were in the wrong place. I thought that they were going to give boot us out the door so we left.

Chumleys's does have a bar crowd, and it is a former speakeasy, but it is also a very good restaurant. It has as much character as any restaurant around. I like going in the prohibition era entrance through the alleyway.

When were you last there? My friend who suggested Chumley's said that it had changed since the last time that she went. This was in October.
