Alpha Alpha, Adelphi....
Well first of all, they slated me in as their new AA!!! I can't wait to start!
They just initiated 9 new members this fall, the largest class on campus. Also the largest fall class since Adelphi switched to deferred rush.
They raised $2500 for St. Jude's at their annual Bachelor Auction back in October.
They won Adelphi's first annual Greek Sing a couple of weeks ago.
Last year they won best chapter and the Dean's Cup for highest GPA of all GLOs.
For the Long Island Alumnae chapter....
We will be holding our annual gift wrapping at the Walt Whitman Mall on December 20. All proceeds will go to our local philanthropy Friends of Karen.
In Feburary we will be raising money for St. Judes with a pocket book sale. I can't wait!
We have 2 national voluneteers. Diane Martin is the Northeast Coordinator and Jane Hartman is a CDO.
At the last Convetion we won best Alumnae Chapter for small chapters (or some award like that).
That's all I can think of right now.
