Do what you've been doing, be honest with your chapter. Ignore the other comments. You should document the incidents, (yea i'm an RA), and keep them well recorded. if it is on the web print it out. But also, keep notes of phone call, convos - w/time, date- pretty much any interaction with the hostile party. if you feel strongly, perhaps write a letter to the people who are harassing you and keep a copy, asking them to refrain from spreading your business. Talk to someone on your campus to find out about harassment issues and for goodness sake, do not get into a b*tch fight with them, walk away. Be clear and tell them you don't appreciate it.
i dunno if you want to go as far as some type of school restraining order, but most schools have them. Do what you feel comfortable with, but DO NOT antagonize the situation. Don't talk to them etc. be the grown up.
i dunno if this is what you wanted to hear, or i'm totally off base, which is possible after my stupid paper on NATO. grrrr
