I do feel bad for her and felt bad that she broke down like that. It was definitely not fake tears. But, I do think she brought a lot of it onto herself. She does a lot of things for publicity. For instance, she denied doing some of the almost-nude photos for shock value. Or even the Madonna kiss. She tried to play up the innocent act throughout the interview. I don't know how much I believe her when she said she's never tried coke. She couldn't even look at Diane Sawyer straight when she said she hadn't. And, of course, she couldn't give Diane a straight answer about what she did to Justin. Diane asked, "You say you've slept with one person. But, Justin said you did something that obviously hurt him so bad. What did you do?" Britney stammered for about a minute and finally said, "Well, technically he's right but technically I am." wtf?
The interview did make me feel sorry for her. She doesn't have any private life. Everything she does is played out to the world. But, like I said before, if she didn't try to shock everyone all the time, I think the papparazzi might not be as inclined to create a feeding frenzy around her.
