HC I have had such a bad morning?
HC I got my PPD (tuberculosis skin test) read this morning and got a positive reaction?
HC this means that I have come in contact with TB?
HC all these dayum people coming in the ER coughing all over me?
HC I had to go to get bloodwork and a chest x-ray this morning to make sure that it is dormant?
HC I went right after work this a.m. and first went to the lab?
HC when I went for the xray, they had to 'make sure' that I wasn't pregnant?
HC since (I know this is TMI), my cycle isn't regular they had to send me BACK to the lab to give a specimen for the preg test?
HC they'd already discarded the first one?
HC then I had to go back to xray and sit and wait for the results?
HC after like 30 minutes, I go up to the receptionist and ask her have they gotten the call yet?
HC she proceeds to explain to me the HIPPA law and why I would have to go retrieve my own results from employee health?
HC I KNOW the HIPPA law back and front...WTF are you explaining this to me?
HC you let me sit here for 30 minutes knowing this instead of just telling me I had to go back to E.H.?
HC I track all the way across the hospital back to E.H....get my negative (which I knew all along
) test results, and then go BACK to xray?
HC I still had to wait because the gentlemen who was "handling my situation" had taken a patient to the ER? (not my damn problem...is he the only one that knows WTF he is doing?)
HC I still have to go back up there tomorrow morning to get all of the results of everything for them to decide whether or not I have to take a medicine everyday for the next 6 months?
