a Greek Director of Admissions?
This isnt official yet, but the Texas Epsilon Chapter of Pi Beta Phi might be getting a new alumni initiate, and she is the Director of Admissions at our school.
There was a local sorority called Omicron at our school that later was chartered by Pi Phi, and she was a member and then advisor of Omicron. Once it was chartered, she couldnt do anything anymore, but all the girls she advised became Pi Phis.
She was accepted unanimously by the local alumni group, and by our active chapter group. This will now go to the Grand Council.
I just think this is really neat for the school and for Pi Phi, and she will be initiated at our next initiation if accepted. We were told that she was really exicited and started crying she was so touched.

We have a Brother who is 599, his Son is a Brother, so now his Son is also His Brother! It is always nice to have a memeber of the Falcuity as a Memeber. 599 of LX Z is a Head of a Dept. He is also a great Brother!

Very cool for you ladies! My chapter of initation recently initiated the chancellor's wife, who was the president of our local (then called the Athenaeum Society) in the late 50s. Seeing her initiated was a wonderful experience for us.

On a similar note,
The new director of Student Judicial Affairs at Nebraska is a SigEp. The head of Judicial Affairs is the one in charge of setting sanctions and stuff for those chapters and individuals who break the Universities code of conduct.
Apparently, he's inviting all the Fraternity presidents over for a cigar smoke this week as one of his first acts as Director. Should be interesting to see how he disciplines greek chapters in the future. I thought our last director was very fair.
