During our pref round my senior year, the recruitment chair put out pre-cut out kites (from poster-board) and all kinds of glitter and ribbons and whatnot a few days before pref. Each active decorated a kite, adding important things to them (i.e., mine was green and gold, our school colors, because I was the school mascot). Then all the kites were hung from the ceiling, and they gave a little speech about how everyone was unique, but were all still kites... I wish I could explain it better, but it was very, very cool... the kites looked very pretty all hanging together, and gave us something to talk about with our rushee.
