Even Mr. AXO Alum said about Carmen and that mouth!! WOWIE -- talk about offending anybody and everybody! And then for her to start yelling and saying "I can't trust you" or whatever....duh, Carmen, I think its Y-O-U that can't be trusted.

I think Carmen would crush Robbie. This is not saying Carmen is fat but that Robbie is scrawny.
Although she did say some inappropriate things - I think the people who were offended should have said something to her directly instead of running to Valcoral. When someone said she was racist and she laughed it off, they should have said "no, I mean that seriously, it's not a joke." As for Salina (and I just have to say every time I see her name I think of saline solution) she lives with her day in & out, she should be able to say "that's really bleeping offensive to me" instead of running to the sisters.

Ha, I was watching it with a friend last night and he said the exact same thing.

Did anyone notice that the pledge ed from FL2 was wearing a white undershirt and red suspenders? He looked like a tool. The only people I have ever seen dressed like that in real life were skinheads/sharps. Weird.

I don't get why the other pledges couldn't have sat down with Carmen and explained to her that they found some of her comments racially offensive - rather than running to the sisters. It seems that they said something but she laughed it off. The message I'm getting is that the pledges have a lot of internal conflict (which will happen in any group), but that they're incapable of resolving it internally.
It just seems that there are no "intermediate steps" before something big happens. Meena wasn't really prioritizing the sorority and making the effort to get to know everyone, so BAM! she's depledged. Carmen made some thoughtless remarks, so BAM! she's hauled before the sisters and read the riot act.
I don't know how much of this is attributable to MTV's selective editing, of course...

Well I think the two incidents, at the restaurant and the pledge house, we definitely a few days apart at least. If you look at the restaurant when Carmen made the remark about "attitude" and where she grew up she had braces on. The alumna had her called to the actives house so they could talk to her about it and Lynisse said Carmen seems to put the blame on everyone else and wants to know why they're picking on her.
The incident with Salina and the "beady little eyes" comment Carmen doesn't have braces on anymore. From what I've seen of friends it takes a while to get all of the braces material removed etc to the point where you feel comfortable talking without the mouth feeling sore. So to me there was quite a bit of time between Carmen first being spoken to and then next time they spoke to her about her comments and to think before she speaks.
Good old MTv editing as always

pledge pin
im not sure if this has been brought up or not, but when i was watchin one of the sl3 episodes, i noticed carmen was wearing her pledge pin in her pajamas. i know in my chapter we were only allowed to wear our pledge pins with nothing less dressy than khakis or a sundress. i was curious if other chapters have rules on this or if to some, it doesnt matter when you wear your pledge pin.

when I pledged Tua Beta Sigma I had to wear my pledge pin 24/7. When we took a shower we had to pin it to our towels. Thinking back on it it was a pretty silly rule. I mean, do you want your members looking bad in your pin?

I missed the past few episodes also for various reasons.
MTV's website gives a recap of each episode. I hope this helps!

They made dinner with Katina.
They didn't do the dishes for a week.
Katina is mad.
Carmen is crabby and fighting with her man.
ummm, that's about it.
