When we did rush for APO, we'd usually have the actives sit in the room and the rush chairs would bring rushees to sit with actives (rush chairs matched people at random, just as they came in). My last active semester, the rush chair brought a girl named Leah to sit with me. We clicked instantly...after about two minutes you'd think we'd known each other forever. Of course she decided to pledge and she became my little that semester. (In fact, a lot of the brothers didn't believe that we'd just met at Rush...they thought for sure we knew each other before that!) She's still one of my closest friends and I am going to be in her wedding next year.
