Well folks, not a good night for Eagles fans tonight.
The C team comprised of 4 5th graders and 1 6th grader went down to defeat by a score of 40-3. Ouch. But ya know, those girls played hard.
The B team, of 6th and 7th graders fought hard. And despite a T on their Coach
played a close game and ended up losing by only 3. 30-27. This is my main team to coach, the head coach and i share the C team. Based on tonight's game, next week's practices are going to contain lots of work on defense, positioning, and conditioning. And oh yeah, lay up drills
The A team......<shudder> 67-22. Well, um, yeah, at least they didn't quit
Pine Ridge School is one of the 2 largest "public" schools on the Rez. Them and Little Wound have about 3 times the amount of students as the others. Loneman, where i teach, and American Horse, where my mom is principal are probably the next two largest.
Tomorrow night the A and B teams are in action again, this time hosting Our Lady of the Lourdes. We should take this one
