Once you are initiated in an NPC sorority you cannot join another.
If a women pledges a sorority but does not initiate, she must wait one calendar year before pledging another group. I have never known a woman that has dropped out of a group after pledging and re-pledged to another sorority. That's not to say that it would happen, I just don't know anyone that's done it. I have known women that attempted to do it and they did not receive bids.
