Do you realize
that if you get paid every two weeks like I do,there are only 6 more paychecks until Christmas? My coworker pointed that out to me this morning.I can't believe how near it is.I barely have any shopping done. Two gifts out of seven.I am not ready for the holidays to be here that quickly.

The only reason I have started is because I have to budget in a little here and a little there.I am also not a big fan of holiday shopping crowds.I would rather get it out of the way before the hordes start in.

You think that is bad I have to contend with Matthews birthday a week before christmas and christmas for a 3 yr old. Not to mention my mother, brother, nephew and uncle and his wife have birthdays in december and all around christmas. Now the only saving grace of the matter is the fact that Now i am divorced i can cut My husband jeff out of the birthdays in december which was dec 24.

But that's okay...you can hit the after Christmas sales for my birthday present! My bday is 3 days after Christmas
/end of hijack
We get paid every week and I was freaking out today seeing people buy Christmas gifts. I didn't know whether to look at them in awe or say "are you crazy?"

Jill, you're getting a lump of coal in your stocking.
I have NO MONEY to go Christmas shopping, just like every year. Being a student bites the big one.

Just make sure ya separate the Christmas coal from the birthday coal! And none of this "Put one lump of coal aside for your birthday!"
I guess you can tell I am still truamatized from being a Christmas time baby!
I am broke too! Christmas will be lean, thank goodness for the Double employee discount days and the discount day coupons!

Holiday shopping in DC is insane! We have at least 5 mall within 30 minutes of each other and the week before Christmas, each one is packed. Oh yeah, and not to mention the after-Thanksgiving sales. Those are even worse.
