Okay,

Most of the time GLO's prefer to be called Fraternities, because "calling a Fraternity a Frat is like calling your country a C*nt" I would have to agree with the whole image issue being the cause.

However, (in my experience) traditionally BGLO's refer to themselves as Frats, they call members in their organization their Frat, and that's what they refer to themselves as. It's not for lack of respect, that's a sign of respect in BGLO's.
