Okay, this has been something that has bugged me for a while now, not just about SL3 but about all the shows in this series. The actives are always calling the pledges and making them do stuff for them. I know that everyone's GLO is different, but when I was a pledge the actives always went out of their way to invite me to things and check up on me...not order me around. And when I became an active, I always called the pledges and asked them if THEY needed a ride, not the other way around. I just feel like the groups they choose for the SL Shows are all about what the pledges are going to do for them to prove to them that they should get in...whereas it seems like many of our GLOs are about supporting our pledges and making sure it's a mutual match. I'm sure this is just a part of the "sororities are power trip elitists" stereotype that MTV wants to portray, but it drives me nuts!
