I know I'm talking like someone whose school was small enough to walk everywhere (which I did) but unless you are a commuter from a different town I don't know why you need a car at college every day.

Ah....last time I checked, USC was located in a not-so-great neighborhood. That might be one reason to not want to walk everywhere.
