MTV always has 6 pledges living in the pledge house. As to why, I don't know. I think that all the pledges should live together also. It was an issue among the pledges on SL1, that's when they decided to have ALL the pledges stay the weekend at the pledge house (which turned bad by the end of the weekend).
I did hear her say that she came from an Alpha party. Perhaps Meena did want to pledge a D9 sorority. However, with her "perceived" outlook on sororities, it's probably better that she didn't.
