Yall have said it all.... I saw sooo much disturbing chit...
(1) Destiny's Chirren : Why oh why have they not fired Beyonce's mom? Why is she STILL making their costumes? Could she not be more creative than sheers? K-Mart Blue Light specials....

(2) Devante and dem : What was that fur thing he was carrying? What do you think was in it? Somebody give him some relief, he had some kind of itch thing going on... His hair???

(3) Steve and Ced : Where were the collars to any of their suits? WTF was Ced thinking when he pimped out there with that pink mess on?

(4) Usher : What's up with the one-man choreographed show? Did yall see the handstand? What was that all about?

(5) JILL SCOTT : She got no props... WTF?

(6) Patti : REPRESENTIN AT 60+.... Lawd please lemme look that good!

Just some more observations:

Why when people spoke, did I feel like I was watching a cheap Chinese martial arts movie?

Why, for like the first hour, did everyone (including background rappers like Natedog) lip sync?

Who let Traci Bingham in?

Despite songs w/ potential, Usher and Sisqo are tired. Why do they, and Genuine, insist on believing they are the next Michael Jackson?

Why when rappers perform (Jay Z), do some 30-40 other rappers (none which we know) end up on stage, all of which are said to currently be in the studio with albums dropping in 2002, 2003...?

Why is DC everywhere and what do they want from us?

Bobby Brown: R&B king???

Mary J and Devante looked a complete mess.

Ok, now I'm starting to get mad! I think while my ex was flippin back and forth between channels during commercials (why do men always do that???), I must have missed some stuff!!!! When did Ced have on a pink suit????????????????? I thought they had on the tuxes all night!!

Thank you, thank you,thank you! I didn't view yesterday's awards. Now, thanks to these pictures and everyone's commentary, I feel as if I had viewed the show. I know that my fellow GChatters weren't expecting to see a class act, as these shows rarely are such. If I were able to view the show, I would have done so anticipating much comedy from my peoples! They are a trip ya'll!

After Whitney's performance but before Outkast performed, CED put on his Pink ruffled EASTER SUIT from 73 to show 2 things: YOSKEE LOVE and how he is SO FRESH AND SO CLEAN CLEAN!! Steve put on a Silvery Glittery tux jacket as well.

Why oh why did Beyonce and Chilrren have on those sequined/meshed/asymmertical gowns? Who told them that they were cute?

Why oh why did Devante embarrass the hell outta Jodeci by doing the following:
*not combing his "hair"-that dried out,jheri curled, half cut mess on his head was ridiculous
*wearing those white "WANTED" moonboots? (For you ladies that don't know, WANTED are shoes that you only find in low-budget shoe stores)
*that fur pouch-WTF??

Why oh why did none of Jay-Z's crew wanna show love to Devante? They all tried to steer clear from his path, but he made it his mission to hug every guy that came on stage.

I was so mad, I went to sleep after Patti performed-that's my girl!

Ok....now I was looking at BET.com yesterday and they listed the categories/nominations, and I could have sworn they had categories for:

Best Male/Female Athelete

Best Actress/Actor

etc, etc,.....

Did a sista miss all that....is that not part of Black Entertainment too


I am not even going to comment on Whitney SO DRAMATIC Houston (Bobby Brown is the R&B King and we should thank him for giving us her? ) or the new thugged out K-CI and JO-JO

I watched the show last night and and and and what happend to my baby? I loves me some Whitney Houston. I hate to say it but is she a crackhead (is that one word or two)! We need to pray for her. I could not help but watch the look on her moms face and it saddened me. I know many of the ladies will say her problems are a result of Bobby but she needs to take control of her life. Friends lets all say a prayer for Whiteney at 3:00.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that Whitney's mama looked str8 up embarrased. That little girl looked like a crackbaby herself- somethin's definitely wrong with her. and Whitney... WTF her hair looked a mess, she weighed about two pounds, she sounded terrible, she was hoppin around the blasted stage, AND she kept singin other people's songs like beyonce and dem's survivor. i almost passed out when she was talkin to somebody in the audience and said "you betta lay low!" i felt embarrassed for her!

Yes, I watched the "Ghetto Awards" last night...

Destiny's Chile: Why did they look like they were on their way to the prom? Those dresses were UGLY! I didn't get a good look at their shoes, but I have an awful feeling that they were probably dyed to match. All that was missing were their prom dates with cumberbunds that match their dress colors.

Steve & Cedric: Not funny. Sorry. I thought they were going to do better than that. I think that Outkast should have hosted the show!

Davonte from Jodeci: Get that boy into REHAB. He was so coked/cracked up that he couldn't even stand still for one second. And what was he grabbing on down there?

Whitney: She definately looked like she was going through withdrawls. She probably spent the last week off the stuff in order to try not to look high. I'm sure Bobby had a fat bag of something waiting for her as soon as that was over. Her mama was holding onto Bobbi Kristina for dear life. She looked like she just wanted to snatch Whitney by the hair and whup her on the stage. Bobby Brown is the KING OF R&B? HUH? Even funnier is that no one clapped when she said that.

Bow Wow: Why did my husband ask me if I could press our daughter's hair like his for church this Sunday?
