actually there is WAY more to the story,
She was in the state's custody because her family wasn't able to take care of her. She had been living with a foster family for 10 years - NOT HER MOM and NOT HER AUNT!!! They are filing a lawsuit for money, for the death of a girl they LEGALLY GAVE UP!!! Her mother gave up her rights by putting her in foster care, and if her aunt loved her so much why didn't she let her come stay with her?
Golddiggers is the nicest word for those women.
