It might be ridiculous. The mother and aunt named everybody to the lawsuit except the monsters that actually committed the crime. I think they are probably just gold diggers.
Based on the limited info provided in the story I don't see how the school, employees, or the fraternity are responsible.
If the girl let the guys into her room then she was stupid.
