Kathy Williams introduced this "saying" at the 2001 Leadership Conferences. She gave a great talk about the meaning of sisterhood and being in a greek letter organization.

She punctuated the talk with frequent "I am PROUD to a Phi Mu!"

She is a marvelous motivational speaker. She travels frequently in her private consulting business and is a frequent speaker on behalf of NPC issues. ANY GLO would benefit from having her speak to their group.

Actually, my chapter picked that up from....oh what was her name. I can see here. Lil spitfire national advisor from Louisiana...Anyway, she always used to make us say it at meetings. And we are YANK-EES up here in PA, so we had to EGGS-aggerate the southern accent, so it came out kinda like my signature "Ah ayum pray-oud tew bee ah Phah Mew!"
(Of course when I went to convention in 2002 in Hotlanta and they got the whole room of 600 Phi Mus to say it, the Southern accent was much more overwhelming! Heehee!)
