At Roanoke, I don't think we've had much of a problem with girls not rushing us because we're not as well-known nationally as the other sororities on campus. It probably helps that there are seven chapters and one colony of ASA in Virginia. Because Roanoke College attracts a lot of Virginians, ASA is no more familiar or unfamiliar to them then any other NPC sorority. Also, Roanoke College is so small (about 1250 students), girls usually have a chance to get to know the personalities of all the sororities before formal rush and don't have to choose based on national reputation. We only recieved our charter 2.5 years ago, but I already see us making great strides in the Greek and other campus communities. I look forward to Theta Beta becoming an even greater force at Roanoke College and an example of what it means to be an Alpha Sigma Alpha!
