Okay, I thought I was the only one who didn't see an option that described my experience.
I grew up on "the block", so I was used to fighting, and having to defend myself. However, like SteelTrap, I was bussed to "multi-cultural" magnet school, far, far away from home. And those people did not get down, the way we got down on "the block", so I never had to fight in grade school. But I hate to see people get picked on. I can't stand it. I'm always right there, ready to help them stomp out an injustice.
But the one thing about "under dogs" that burns me, is that some of them get too comfortable with the "rescuers" constantly rescuing them.
Stick up for your damn self, sometimes! Get a freaking backbone! Open up your mouth and say,
NO. It's okay...really.
