less then five african american girls went thru rush at ga state this yr, and two of them are new members of AOII. in fact, tonight was our bid night and we went to a local restaurant. while in the restrooms, a lady came up to us and said, "what is with your sorority?!!!" my sister and i asked what exactly did she mean, and she said "i have NEVER seen a chapter THAT diverse, thats amazing, when you guys came in i was expecting to see MTV cameras bc i was thinking, this CANNOT be real" this was soo cool to hear that from an outsider. our chapter really is SO diverse, and its amazing since AOII isnt considered multicultural specifically. in our chapter we have white girls, black girls, asian girls, a jamacian, spanish/hispanic girls, east indian, native american... dang this list could do on forever!! we are just THAT diverse!!! :-D
