I agree 100%. I wonder where were all the supports systems that are in place in our country to help women with depression, suicidal tendencies, etc.? Did no one see her prior acts as a call for help? And although I am sure he loves his wife, wasn't Mr. Yates at all concerned about the condition of his wife and how that could affect their kids? While he worked to support the family, his wife was dealing with obvious emotional problems in addition to dealing with child-rearing and home schooling.

All of those children died for no reason. Someone, including the husband, could have and should have seen the signs. How very, very sad.
