I am still recovering from the game last night... I haven't been to a Florida Gator game since 1988. Lucky for me, they were in town to play the miami hurricanes.
Though we lost, it's still GREAT TO BE A FLORIDA GATOR! -=;==;<
My family has had Hurricane season tix since the early 80s & the seats are awesome: 45 yard line, row 7. Right behind the UM players. Now what red-blooded, American woman would not like that!
Anyway, I went w/ a friend (Mr. KDOnline does not like football), & I was all decked out in my Gator t-shirt & hat. She had on a Canes hat. Needless to say, I was deep in Cane Country, but all the people around us had nothing but love for me...since I wasn't an obnoxious fan. Or maybe it was because I'm so cute, even in my old age!? (I've never received so many hugs & kisses from strange men in my life! Shhh..dont tell Mr. KDOnline!

On a REALLY cool note, guess who I saw at the game!? Our little UF Kappa, CurlyGirly!!!! She actually saw ME (or, her mother recognized me - remember, I was her high school teacher), which was really wild..! Of course, she was such a cutie, in her Kappa Greekweek t-shirt, her younger sister was decked out in Gator gear as well. And CG was with her roomie who is a Phi Mu - I'd IM'ed/emailed her before, but this was the first time we met.
Well, I've got to get my voice back...but maybe I'll go to next week's Hurricane game. But it won't be as fun, since I won't be rooting for East Carolina..
