We finally all met up
. Took me aaages to get there because of some city-wide power cut taking out the subway and rail network (well, they said there was a power cut, didn't seem especially dark to me
). So I went by road getting in traffic; worth it though. I met Kelly, Caroline, Stephanie :-) :-).
A nice man called, what was it John or Joss or something? - kept the crew amused with erm... odd ramblings
. That's London for ya'.
Oooh and the venue, a certain Kansas GreekChatter mentioned a cool venue in London so we all went there.
The Sherlock Holmes Pub in Northumberland Avenue.
Apparently Sir Arthur Conan Doyle lived there and they have a study people can view, it was pretty cool and the staff were all really nice!
One of the few regrets is I didn't get to have a Scotch Egg there - sorry Tom! And because of the transport probs didn't spend as much time with the crew as we could have. Maybe we'll havta do it again
It was still cool.
