I'm not too knowledgeable with everything that goes on "behind" recruitment, but as honeychile said, you may be the 51st woman on their list and may get an invite back at a later round. I'm glad to hear that you gave the two invites a chance, and you may have made a sparkling impression on those organizations and you'll continue to go back and really find your home!
