Someone with a 4.0 may sit back and do absolutely nothing while someone with a 2.8 works hard for AKA. I've seen this happen. What they have may look good on paper, but that is no real indicator as to what true value they will bring to the chapter. Sure, they will keep the chapter's gpa high, but what else are they doing for Alpha Kappa Alpha and the community?

Girl, be proud of your 2.8! We don't know what your circumstances are or what the standards are at your school. If you know you worked hard and did the best you could do, then good for you.
