I heard both ladies in a piece on NPR (National Public Radio). I found Laila Ali to be poised and articulate… I found Jackie Frazier to be gruff and rather inarticulate. I’m sorry I missed the GMA interview because I was VERY disappoint with the Jackie Frazier’s interview on NPR (it was a piece on both boxers by the “Kitchen Sisters” –radio producers). As an attorney myself… it was hard to listen to Jackie “Smokin’ Sister” Frazier sound so inarticulate but after reading Nikki25’s comment maybe I’ll have to give her another chance. (Although having a law office above your father’s gym is like having a law office in a bowling alley...can anybody say NBC’s “ED”? – not hatin’ on the sister with her own firm however-DO YOUR THING GIRL!)
As far as the fight—I am hyped! If a sista’s got the heart and skills to box GO FOR IT! Shoot as hard as it is for me to just get to the gym... I APPLAUD them both for having the will and the drive to get in shape and keep motivated. Training for boxing is tough so.. SO GO LADIES!
