I can see it now......

"I know! You know how we made a shitload of money off Sideshow Bob and Mariah Scary? Well, why don't we make a movie where they fall in love or something?"

"That's.........the BEST idea I've heard since Waterworld!"

"Well, how bout a guy who, for some reason, a lot of girls find attractive, in a movie with a completey recycled and senseless plot, and all he does is do unrealistic mindless stunts with all those cool explosions and stuff, and we'll make sure he gets the girl?"

"AWESOME! It worked for Steven Seagal!"

"Sure. Nancy, please notify Mr. Diesel. Tell him he has work again."

"You know who'd be perfect as director? Steven Soderbergh! Just cause he made a great movie like Ocean's Eleven doesn't mean he can't be his normal self.....remember Full Frontal?"

"Guys, you're blowing my mind with all this....let's get to work."

Vin Diesel.....haven't seen charisma like that since Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller.
you see, this thread's the problem. People's tastes are different, the abstract movies are really hit and miss with the mainstream audience. I loved the movie Roger Dodger, but most ppl that i've mentioned it too said they've never heard of it.

p.s. Whoever said Traffic is bad...hey i'd like to see you make a better movie.

I liked Howard the Duck. But I can see why people would hate that movie. It was bad.

Agreed. There was nothing positive in that movie, not plot, not acting, not characterization, certainly not production quality.

I was dissapointed. Another black film bites the dust.

I also like Howard the Duck. I think it's one of those movies you have to watch for the first time when you're really young, so then it has the nostalgia factor working for it.

Well once again reiterating on the Punch Drunk Love. Really didn't care for that movie. A couple more to add to the list:
Emperor's New Groove (I love cartoons to death and all but this one just annoyed me)
Dreamcatcher (saw it for free~ my friend's cousin works for Warner Brothers and he got us tickets to the preview so at least I didn't have to pay for those wasted hours of my life)

Oh, yeah, the first part was good...but I'm still trying to figure out what happened to the rest of it. They must've been trying to make two movies in one.

Water World is horrible, too...that's about all I can say about that one.

And yes, will someone please tell us in graphic detail just how bad Gigli is? Please don't make me have to watch it myself to find out.

I can only think of Snake Eyes right now. I went ahead and rented it just because Nicholas Cage is in it but I didn't care too much for the movie and the storyline.

Oh man, how could I forget Snake Eyes? It was going good up until they kill the suspense damn near in the middle of the movie by revealing the mystery already.

Funny, according to www.moviemistakes.com:

The original ending planned was a massive tropical storm/water based chase scene. However, this was decided to be too expensive, and was switched for a cheaper, and some say weaker ending. Nonetheless, in Nicholas Cage's final speech, he says "I keep thinking about that tunnel, and what would have happened if I'd drowned." This makes no sense, given that in the new ending he came nowhere near a tunnel or drowning.

I used to like howard the duck when i was little but i tried watching it a couple of years back and it was horrible, watch it now and then tell me how much you like it, i think your minds will be changed.

Just about every steven segal movie.

Eight crazy nights.

Slackers.

Earnest Goes to or does anything.

Meatballs 2 i think, it's the one with the teenage guy who tries to get laid and has a dead porno star for a guardian angel, that one was sooooo bad.

Stop or my mom will shoot.

Scream 3

From Justin to Kelly?

the movie about PAT from SNL.

Kazaam

The master of disguise.

Rocky and bullwinkle

Mac and me (damn ET rip-off)
