Actually, a lot of chapters
did do a philanthropy-type project when I rushed. Unfortunately, the ones who did all did the same thing - give us a brown paper bag & crayons to make puppets for children's hospital. When I suggested that we get to know each other instead (at paperbag sorority #3), she got all huffy. I was happy to cut them & be cut!
